Sunny Perth, but no racing?

G'day all. I'm actually in Melbourne right now on holiday. Have been looking at PBs for some time. I have a Kwaka ZX7R, but I am selling it to pay some debts off and get into PB racing. Seems that nothing (racing) is organised in Perth, which of course is no new surprise! The only meeting I have come across was by mistake at the Cockburn Supermotard meet. I visited Viperformance in Bayswater Melb this morning. The friendly guy said that there are 100+ riders at race meets in QLD, and that's a bad turn out! I will be buying a bike very soon and hopefully getting all the bikers together in Perth for some social racing. So drop us a line, tell me what the GO is, and lets get it started in Perth for real!

yeah been reading that link just now. wanneroo sounds like a sh*t fight! all you guys sound like northern suburbs boys which is no problem to me :wink: but are there any proper meets at the go-kart track in cockburn anymore? it's a great little circuit! anyways i'll be back in perth on the 17th of october. won't have a bike for a couple more months, but i'll come up, introduce myself and discuss some ideas.

I have called all the kart tracks in Perth and all I get is real bad attitude.As soon as I mention the word Pocketbike Its like I have sworn at them. The voice goes cold and its "No" "Dont know" "Bye"

Whats up with this? I recently bought a cheapie on the web to simply have fun on, legally. I have yet to even ride it as being new to Perth I have no iead of where i can go to ride without having to look over the shoulder for the police.

I have also contacted the PBMA and had no response to date. My advice is to buy another full size bike, head for the hills and have fun
