Thumbs down Stay away from Yamoto Springwood

Hi all,

If you want the most pathetic customer service, and a motorbike that doesnt work, buy from the team at yamoto springwood. Myself a 3 friends have purchased bikes from yamoto over the past year, not only were none of the bikes ready to ride(i.e bolts loose) after been to they areready to go, but the bikes were jetted wrong. After weeks of arguing with the owner, I was able to drop my bike off to be fixed. 3 weeks later just got it back. $1600 for a bike I purchased 4 weeks ago and still havent riden it. I recommend to STAY AWAY FROM YAMOTO...

I've had nothing but idiots serve me when i've been in on a few occasions.
I was building a scooter and wanted to put a blata rep w/c motor on it. They didn't have one in stock so the douche bag tried to tell me that the 49cc cag motor which in fact was 39cc would have just as much power.
Next time i was in there i was chasing a 26mm mikuni for my pit bike. He showed me one of their fake mikuni carbs. I asked if they had any genuine ones in stock and was told that it was genuine.
I was stupid enough to return recently when chasing a kick start lever. My original had a bend in it so it would clear the foot peg when starting. All the ones they had in stock were straight. I said i don't think it will work and was treated like an idiot and told that they're all the same. So dumb **** me believed the tool behind the counter and bought one. Sure enough it didn't work. When i took it back i was told that they would not refund because i made the wrong choice.

I got to agree with you guys.

I went in there needing a rear motard rim, they only had complete wheels with cheap shitty motard tyres on there so I asked if I could just get the rim and have my vee rubber motard slick put onto that rim, they said they wouldn't seperate so I bought the complete rim, tyre and tube, asked them to put my vee rubber on they said ok come back in half an hour.

Walked around Moss street for about 15mins then realised I had to get back to the northside has I had to start work soon so went back to see if they were nearly finished. Nope. They were still there sitting on their **** like they were when they were serving me.

When I told them not to worry about changing the tyre I would get it done else where when I had time, they jumped up out of their seat and said they would do it, I told them it was too late, and I had to go. Bloody wankers.

Another time before that I also went in like you Mr. Jones wanting a carby. I was after a OKO 26mm flatslide, one of the better carbs on the market, they said they didn't stock them and told me they didn't because they were absolute **** etc, then tried to sell me a fake mikuni.. I walked out and went and ordered one from DHZ in Sydney.

Never been back and don't intend to.
