Cool G'day Burke_a_lot here....

G'day All!

From a small farm near Booroorban NSW....

I have a pretty standard little pocket that I'm experimenting with.... it's running a VIPERFORMANCEŽ 3 IN 1 NOS KIT with a methanol fuel mix.... nothing special like I said I'm just experimenting with it just getting the hang of the little bikes so I can move onto a 'real' pocket bike to race!

Catch ya all around!

Cheers! Burke_a_lot.

This is a outdated pic.... It's now black and I have tidied it up a fair bit....

As far as i know boost bottles have negligable, if any effect on a small engines performance. If they did, every cag in pocket bike racing would have one.

As for your parts place, try this one...more parts available...

Thanx mate! Have been looking at that site seems pretty descent.... The 'BOOST' bottles do offer significant performance.... I have yet to test how much.... but combining it with other performance options makes it quite acceptable. Some reasons why 'every' cag dose not have one is probably because the trouble and expense you have to go through to make it 'sing'!

They offer no gains what so ever, period.. Even in conjuction with other mods..

If you reckon you can tell the difference a boost bottle makes, you're only trying to justify to yourself why you spent the money on it in the first place..
Same with the silly NOS.. It'll last the whole 5 seconds, can't race with it and is just another waste of money..

Very true ... & if you try to justify you need one... you'v just never ridden a fast cag..

& a whole 5 seconds of Nos is bit of an exageration.. more like 3 seconds!

You'l get way more benefits by putting time/effort/money into some good bearings in the wheels & clutch housing .. & making sure your driveline is truely straight & free of any friction..

maybe the reason they're not on every cag too... Is cause they already went & invented the wheel!!

Also, If you just change that std exhaust to a wavepipe, upgrade your reeds & carb.. you can concentrate on practicing & enjoy riding it instead of rebuilding it all the time..

I put your old 40 into the same frame as that glen with a wavepipe with sum vrubbers & I was givin everyone a lap start the other week & I was still catchin them 2 laps b4 the chequer.. there not too bad a frame, they're between a 1/2 fairing & full fairing size..

wow.... ok.... Well I'll take ya comments.... but I do stand by my NOS.... the regulator can space it out to 15 seconds of power.... if your stupid enough to hit it all in one go then yea you will get 3-5 seconds....

And thanx Morty! Good info you gave there! +1 reputation for you!

Oh and for the record I have only once rebuilt the engine.... I just like pulling it apart and learning 'what's what'....

I'm still new to all this guys.... what I'm saying is from the little experience I have had so far.... if I am wrong I am happy to be corrected.... accordingly....

Cheers!
