oh yer well, What has happened to the forum?
Its not about kids showing off there pride and joy any more its just title title titles...

Tyd did bring a lot of funny/interesting posts to the table and I'm hell bent to think of any

I use to love seeing a new member get help fixing his carby, then see pics of it and see it at Archy! Now that's just gone. If you don't race euro your just not good enough for the forum it seems

The CAG was the bread and butter of the pocket bike community , thats where it all started if it wasnt for the CAG pocket bikes probaly wouldnt even be around now and it still offers a great class of racing its not as fast as the big dollar euro bikes but the speed of the bike is not the issue , its the entry level and if you want to attract new members esp into he junior class then this is where it all starts every club aust wide should be promoting the CAG class its very cost effective and a class most juniors and parents can offord to enter , here in SA we still run and promote the CAG class to both junior and senior members, it doesnt have to be high end euro only, all clubs aust wide should be pushing for new junior members starting with the CAG class and the option to move up from there is available should they wish to move in that direction

Very true, paul. We are trying to get cags up and running again here in NSW for this years racing but it's hard as the only players in the classes will be the stalwarts.

Pocket bikes are getting more and more difficult to attract new people as there are less and less pocket bike grass roots retailers out there. As most of you would know there were lots of sellers a few years back but the market has dried up. Government rulings and such have killed it off for the average junior to go and buy a cag. It'd be nice if the whole pocket bike thing got a revival again. Maybe we need to try and organise some TV coverage at the major events. This might spark it off again.

As for TyD. Every forum needs a smart ar$e stirrer. TyD, come back, we love you......and your mum!

As much as i love the handling, stability, look and the POWER of my euro, i still loved the cag and where we started on them.
I actually got my cag back the other day with my mates frame (broke mine) and my old motor, pretty stock, to get running for this season so the new comers can see both sides to Minimoto racing in NSW. Hopefully we can bring out some new faces and i can have some fun on the cag.
I dare say after a little while i might be getting a few bolt on bits from you morty.
Hopefully we might get a few new and old faces racing with a cag class in NSW.

Yer well my first cag I bought for $400 buck when the craze started, I owned that bike for 3 years and loved riding it till it got stolen

well ill be out at archy this weekend at practice to race tyd as there has been an ongoing **** fight over who is and 2 weeks after that ill start racing again I sold a frame to a kid the other day and he was so keen to get out to Archy and race but he thought it would cost a mint... I think that the cheap price is somthing that really needs to be promoted too, I hope I do see that kid out there and on this site one day.
