where are the admins when there needed ? seems to be a lot of spam on here lately, you can delete a post in the for sale thread but you seem to miss the spammer :-(

I have deleted the one in the Australian Minimoto section, but that is the only section I am the moderator in.
Come on mod's earn ya money, start deleteing and banning the spammmers.

Allan. Stop acting like a bloody child. You don't know the half of what's going on here. If Mac90 and I weren't acting on removing the spam the forum would be over run by now. You haven't seen even one tenth of what's been posted. We are doing our job. You however aren't helping! This forum has a report post button. Click it and report bad posts then I get sent an email. If I'm sitting in front of my computer I'll see it generally within 10 minutes and then can act on it.

Yes we are having a problem with spam at the moment. Will continue to do so until countermeasures can be put in place. That is not my area of expertise however.
I have been deleting posts and banning spammers constantly when I'm on the forum. I am doing this job to the best of my ability without letting this website become all that my life is. There is work in action currently to do something about the problem. Just like many things on this forum they can't be seen by the public eye.

I'm just suprised the admin are not visible because that is what gives people a reason to stay on. It feels a bit like its been deserted yet there is still money coming in to the owner for us visiting the site from advertising.

Crash Dummy, I understand what sort of job you have on here and its not an easy one. I'm just suprised the admin aren't making it any easier. With 7000 members and only 2 moderators, theres no wonder your having trouble keeping up

this is not the only forum getting hit by the spam bots there seems to be a new wave of spam hitting forums that do not have the latest software updates

we cant read every single post
the sooner people report the threads the sooner it will be removed just bare with us we are just unpaid mods who do this in our !!spare time!! not 24/7

For the record. We just had a spammer join - post - delete post - ban in under 5 minutes :P

i reported it to you via the report post button on the top of the page & waited a few hours so i am sure you would have received an email notifying you of it.

then i put a new thread in the appropriate area just to make sure you would be aware of it

you are the one who needs to grow up & stop acting like a child & thinking you are special because you have been given a role as a mod :-0
