hey guys.
as a few of you guys would no i have been trying to get parts for my school project.
my plan is:
39cc blata rep watercooled motor, with dellorto carby. (possibly a few engine mods down the track)
running rear axle setup and huds and stub axles and steering off a quad.
custom welded frame.
possibly front discs if not just rear.
2 ch radio controller.
weight hopefully around 30kg mark.
figured that should make a fairly good power to weight ratio 30 kg to 8-9hp
gearing i have a few options. they are:
6/68 very good bottom end (will be hard to control with out wheel spin)
6/52 good mid power
6/32 very good top end, and will be extremly quik. duno what exact speed will be but should be fast.
and then largest front gear i can find and smallest rear i can find, probably wont get any smaller then a 32 though.
so yeh thats basicly my plan. i have just recently got my motor and hopeing to start on the frame very soon.
thanks. joey.

let me know if you get as far as the radio , i have some large 1/4 scale servos that you WILL need. standard servos will not have the power to both opperate the throttle and naturally the steering.

thats an expensive solution quincy, Oatley Electronics
$30 and then you can use whatever you want for steering.. windscreen wiper motor etc.
i have a few animatronic servos here (the blue topped ones), and i wouldnt swing the dollars for them when i could do that ^^

You will want to make sure your using a VERY good quality radio,
30kg could kill someone if it got out of control.
And a good quality safety cut off!
Hope it all works out for you!
