Hey Guys,

Some of you may already know this, I are currently selling Pocket-Bike-Racing.com.au to the highest bidder. I will share some stats all about the site below and what kind of potential and income it brings in. The reason I have decided to sell PBR is so that I can focus on one of our other sites, namely MiniRiders.com. This is a massive opportunity for one lucky person to snap up a bargain, let me explain to you why. Before you start reading why, make sure you read all the way to the end to see how much I are giving the site away for and how you can score $500 for nothing.

Who is ideal buyer for this site? Someone who has a business in the PBR industry and wants to send a ton of traffic to their website, someone who is an enthusist who wants to make $100-500AUD/month by building and growing this community or so one who just wants to buy the site so they can take it the direction that they want. If any of these are you, I would encourage you to contact us ASAP before its too late. Contact details are at the bottom of this blog post.

About the sites and this listing:
———————————–

In this listing, im going to referr to each site with an acronym to make things easier. From now on Pocket-Bike-Racing.com.au will be known as PBR.

PBR is one of the most well established, long-standing online community for Pocket Bike Riders in Australiasia. It has a very loyal and giving user base with hundreds of thousands of articles and threads which help everyone from the newbie rider to the experienced rider out. The site has been around a very long time and has a very long standing membership base. (Its almost 6 years old). The community is currently built up of 10,000+ members and over 90,000 posts. This community shows great potential for further growth in a great, expanding niche.

PBR runs an owned license of vBulletin (version 3.8.0), and is heavily modified to work exactly as needed to as a secure online community, many of these modifications and manual template/php edits being our own design and implementation. The license and access to forum upgrades has will be included in the sale. License information for vBulletin will also be provided, along with upgrade scripts to 3.8.5 should you wish to undertake this task.

Although both sites a really targeting Australia about 50-60% of traffic comes from international sources.

Hosting: Both sites are hosted on a Sydney CPanel based VPS and will be moved to your host (best to run them on cpanel) after all payments have been recieved. They were hosted in the US until around November 2009 when I moved them to Sydney which increased their traffic and SEO domination in Google by around 15-20%

What you will receive on purchase of PBR website:
———————————————————————-

1. Freshly designed *ORIGINAL* vBulletin community and blog Pocket-Bike-Racing.com.au – domain and existing community

2. PocketBike.com.au – A second, parked domain redirecting traffic to Pocket-Bike-Racing.com.au

3. vBulletin licence and software with access to upgrades.

4. A server side email marketing suite (Interspire Email Marketer 6.0)

5. Access to and ownership of all associated accounts (analytics, email marketing, forum, ftp & CPanel).

6. A video distribution website which has a great SEO presence and relatively large list of members/subsribers.

7. Full migration assistance and/or a done-for-you migration onto a new server/VPS.

8. Transfer of all domains over to you.

Pocket-Bike-Racing.com.au has first page of google and first position for highly competitive keywords like:

pocket bike, pocketbike, pocket bike racing, pocket rockets for sale, pocket bikes, blata ultima, pocket rocket for sale, repsol bike, pocket bike forum, repsol, blata ultima (Some of these keywords are for Google.com.au (Australian Google) and others appear globally.)

Why Am I selling PBR?
————————————

It come’s down to one very simple thing, Time. At the end of the month I would have to say I only spend 1-2 hours working on the site because the other site I own takes up such a large amount of my time.

I know both of these sites have massive potential and I have been holding onto them because I thought I would start to work on them to increase the revenue, but I just dont have the time and the main motorbike website I own is making alot more money on its own than these two put together and then some. Its a real shame, but in me holding onto them, Im stopping someone else from using their skills to turn them into a real asset.

I have put a screenshot of the income for Pocket-Bike-Racing.com.au for Jan 1st 2008 to Jan 1st 2010 when it was making much more money. When I re-designed the forum, the adsense income dropped by around 50% for these two sites and it was at this time that I would proceeded to focus on the other main site I own because it is bringing in much more revenue.

The PBR site has potential to make $500-1000USD per month as a minimum.

This is not including the sponsorship potential, we sell banners to five sponsors per month at $200USD for each banner on our main motobike site. The site is setup to insert either adsense ads or sponsor banners ads using Google Ad Manager.

Again, this is also not taking into account the fact of the lists that are attached to both sites. The following super quick ways to add potential earnings to this site is to:

* Advertising space on newsletter
* Affiliate links to products
* JV with niche product owner
* And many more.

The sites are truly untapped and have incredible opportunity to grow revenue.

Oh and yet again, another monetization strategy is the users keep asking for t-shirts/stickers/hats/hoodies which is another way to increase the revenue.

Support after purchase:
—————————-

I will help with the migration of the sites and will give you a period of 2 weeks where I will offer any support or fix any server side bugs which may arrise from moving servers, as well as help you understand how everything works and how to manage the sites.

Terms of Sale:
—————-

I will only be considering serious offers, these sites are not making nearly the kind of income they are worth, but the work that has gone into them, the money that has been invested, the SEO work that has been done and of course the list which gets quite a great response rate.

Revenue Details
=============

Forum Revenues:

——————–

The forum and video site are generating between $100 and $120 per month which is around 25% of what they were earning from Adsense alone around 1.5 years ago before we re-designed the site. I can send you Adsense screen shots if you are a serious buyer.

We also sell banner advertisements @ $220 per month (with a maximum of five sponsors, the banners rotate on these two sites and the third site which we are hanging onto. All sponsors which are currently advertising on the site will not be sold during this sale. Its very simple to find advertisers, you just simply contact all the current adsense advertisers directly and offer them a month ad spot. This is how we built up the advertisers to where they currently are on our other motobike site.

Expenses:
————

Flat-out $30/month for web hosting, there is no marketing costs as all the traffic comes in through google and repeat business. Another point I should make, is that I’ve never had to spend a dime on this forum that it didn’t generate for me, from day one all the way to today. PBR and MBV covers there own expenses, always!

Dear PBR Members,

Over the last 6 weeks we have been fighting an invasion on the site by phishing fraudsters who planted a number of illegal phishing virus files that kept firing off attempts to steal confidential information from a number of major sites around the world. Because of the size of the recipients of the illegal activity they put enormous pressure on our hosting company to close us down. The Hosting Service Provider kept putting us on strict deadlines to eliminate all the illegal files and when we failed to stop the phishing they closed us down – firstly for a day or so and then second time for almost a full week.

We have now found a technician who is very experienced in how to combat phishing and he is now working on PBR to ensure that the problem does not occur again. We have also moved the whole site to a new hosting site where, should this ever happen again, it is unlikely that the site will be closed down before we have fixed the problem.

So we are very sorry to all of our members who were inconvenienced during these recent closures but now that we have successfully responded to the threat and moved the site to a new place we can enter 2010 a lot more confident that we can start implementing our New Year agenda for PBR without fear of being taken by surprise by another invasion.

Dear PBR members,

Last week the site went down for over 24 hours. This happened (we think) because when we re-designed the site in late 2008 and re-launched the pages in early 2009 someone managed to insert a fraudulent phishing virus into one of the folders and it was timed to start its phishing activities a few weeks ago. This led to the hosting company giving us multiple warnings to cleanse the site of the fraudulent files responsible for the illegal activity. Even though our technical team worked tirelessly to locate and remove all the fraudulent files they failed to meet the deadline given by the hosting company and they closed PBR down along with Minibikevids.com. The virus had infiltrated both these sites.

We are now continuing the work to ensure the site is 100% free of the virus and we plan to upgrade the security features.

Spammers have also been attacking the site and trying to infiltrate it via the optin for the ezine. So we will have to address that problem as well to keep spammers out as much as we can.

Should the site ever close down temporarily again it will be for one of these reasons.

We conducted a survey of members in October to find out whether or not they wanted us to negotiate special product offers (bike parts, clothing and accessories and information products) for them with suppliers and what they would be willing to pay for such products if they were satisfied in the quality and that it was being offered at a genuine discount to market prices.

We conducted the same survey on the Miniriders.com.au site.

The results were almost identical on both sites – about 97% who took part in the survey were very keen for us to negotiate these deals and bring them to them.

However, there is one big difference between what happened with the Miniriders survey and the PBR survey. A large number of Minirider subscribers took part in the survey but just 16 members of PBR were willing to take the time to let us know their views on this. That is such a low participation rate that we have judged it not to be worth our time and effort to go to work on this for PBR members at this point of time. We have always made it clear that we are willing to go to great lengths to bring new value to members if we are able to gauge from our surveys that members want it enough. Clearly not enough members on PBR want us to do anything more for them than what we are currently providing. So we conclude from this that we should just leave things as they are on PBR until we hear a strong enough voice from PBR members that they want more.

One way that they can tell us what “more” they want, and keep telling us until we hear, is to use this blog and just keep sending us in their comments in response to any of our “Member Survey Results” blog posts. Alternatively they can send us in their messages via the “Contact Us” on the home page.

We are here to serve your interests but it is up to enough of you to tell us in a loud enough voice what it is you want us to do. We will be listening and if the noise gets loud enough we will realise that enough of you want us to do certain things that we will then say ”HEY, THESE GUYS REALLY WANT THIS – SO LETS GIVE IT TO THEM.”

Keep enjoying the forum.

PBR admin

I told you in an earlier blog post that I would add value to your membership on this site by bringing to you a range of products and opportunities that you may be interested in.

Please trust me that I will not abuse your trust in me to not waste your time or your money.

I believe in education for life and there is never a time that I am not still a student of something or studying something or with some one that I think has something valuable to teach me.

I have always had mentors and coaches who have helped me along the way.

I know your chief interests on this site is pocket bikes and that will never change.

But some of you may wish to at least be given the opportunity to check out other things that may have a positive impact in your lives.

The Team at Pocket-Bike-Racing is planning a great many things to keep bringing you more value – and many of them will be centered on pocket bikes, but some of them will be in other areas of interest.

Loral Langemeier has been my personal coach and helped me a great deal and so I have no hesitation in recommending her to others.

She has already released 3 books that became best sellers all over the world. She has just launched her fourth one.

Here is my message to you to personally introduce you to Loral and her new book.

THE MESSAGE

What if I told you that you could earn more money – fast?! And that I knew someone who could actually give you what you need to begin creating new money using the skills and knowledge you already have…

Not only is this person a friend, but she is someone that I have learned from myself. The expert that I am referring to is best-selling author, Loral Langemeier, aka, America’s Leading Money Maker.

Because of the turn of events that got our economy where it is today, Loral saw the need for people to “Turn What They Know Into Dough!”

Her next bestseller, entitled Put More Cash In Your Pocket, gives you the steps you need to generate $500 – $1,000 (or more) EXTRA every month– and you don’t need to understand finance or economics.

And did I mention….It’s Available TODAY!
