About the sites and this listing:
———————————–
In this listing, im going to referr to each site with an acronym to make things easier. From now on Pocket-Bike-Racing.com.au will be known as PBR.
PBR is one of the most well established, long-standing online community for Pocket Bike Riders in Australiasia. It has a very loyal and giving user base with hundreds of thousands of articles and threads which help everyone from the newbie rider to the experienced rider out. The site has been around a very long time and has a very long standing membership base. (Its almost 6 years old). The community is currently built up of 10,000+ members and over 90,000 posts. This community shows great potential for further growth in a great, expanding niche.
PBR runs an owned license of vBulletin (version 3.8.0), and is heavily modified to work exactly as needed to as a secure online community, many of these modifications and manual template/php edits being our own design and implementation. The license and access to forum upgrades has will be included in the sale. License information for vBulletin will also be provided, along with upgrade scripts to 3.8.5 should you wish to undertake this task.
Although both sites a really targeting Australia about 50-60% of traffic comes from international sources.
Hosting: Both sites are hosted on a Sydney CPanel based VPS and will be moved to your host (best to run them on cpanel) after all payments have been recieved. They were hosted in the US until around November 2009 when I moved them to Sydney which increased their traffic and SEO domination in Google by around 15-20%

Why Am I selling PBR?
————————————
It come’s down to one very simple thing, Time. At the end of the month I would have to say I only spend 1-2 hours working on the site because the other site I own takes up such a large amount of my time.
I know both of these sites have massive potential and I have been holding onto them because I thought I would start to work on them to increase the revenue, but I just dont have the time and the main motorbike website I own is making alot more money on its own than these two put together and then some. Its a real shame, but in me holding onto them, Im stopping someone else from using their skills to turn them into a real asset.
I have put a screenshot of the income for Pocket-Bike-Racing.com.au for Jan 1st 2008 to Jan 1st 2010 when it was making much more money. When I re-designed the forum, the adsense income dropped by around 50% for these two sites and it was at this time that I would proceeded to focus on the other main site I own because it is bringing in much more revenue.
The PBR site has potential to make $500-1000USD per month as a minimum.
This is not including the sponsorship potential, we sell banners to five sponsors per month at $200USD for each banner on our main motobike site. The site is setup to insert either adsense ads or sponsor banners ads using Google Ad Manager.
Again, this is also not taking into account the fact of the lists that are attached to both sites. The following super quick ways to add potential earnings to this site is to:
* Advertising space on newsletter
* Affiliate links to products
* JV with niche product owner
* And many more.
The sites are truly untapped and have incredible opportunity to grow revenue.
Oh and yet again, another monetization strategy is the users keep asking for t-shirts/stickers/hats/hoodies which is another way to increase the revenue.
Support after purchase:
—————————-
I will help with the migration of the sites and will give you a period of 2 weeks where I will offer any support or fix any server side bugs which may arrise from moving servers, as well as help you understand how everything works and how to manage the sites.
Terms of Sale:
—————-
I will only be considering serious offers, these sites are not making nearly the kind of income they are worth, but the work that has gone into them, the money that has been invested, the SEO work that has been done and of course the list which gets quite a great response rate.

Forum Revenues:
——————–
The forum and video site are generating between $100 and $120 per month which is around 25% of what they were earning from Adsense alone around 1.5 years ago before we re-designed the site. I can send you Adsense screen shots if you are a serious buyer.
We also sell banner advertisements @ $220 per month (with a maximum of five sponsors, the banners rotate on these two sites and the third site which we are hanging onto. All sponsors which are currently advertising on the site will not be sold during this sale. Its very simple to find advertisers, you just simply contact all the current adsense advertisers directly and offer them a month ad spot. This is how we built up the advertisers to where they currently are on our other motobike site.
Expenses:
————
Flat-out $30/month for web hosting, there is no marketing costs as all the traffic comes in through google and repeat business. Another point I should make, is that I’ve never had to spend a dime on this forum that it didn’t generate for me, from day one all the way to today. PBR and MBV covers there own expenses, always!
