what a great weekend cant say enough about s.w.m.m running such a good round at such a high level .thanks again to all the people that volunteered there time and i know some of you sacrificed your own riding to do so .that really showed your dedication to this sport you are to be commended .and as usual you were very hospital even put on a free bq . well done to all who raced it was really good to have the boys from the west i really enjoyed racing troy in the 14 /40 class ps i hope your mate is doing ok after his crash.allso this is the first Australian title round where we raced in the wet so those funny tyres with the groves in them came in handy.me and liam cant get over how fast you can race on wet tyres ps hope every one had a safe trip home it was really good to catch up with every one and looking forward to the video of the week end

Top weekend even with the rain.
Race one senior Elite 50cc was the best most had ever seen, with Con, Dean and the current number one Tommy battleing for first tyre to tyre the whole race.
Good to meet up with the usually bunch of great interstate guys, NSW Chris, Mago, John, Greves and Al, QLD Bill, Liam and Morty, SA Bill, Liam(hope you like your new ride Liam) and Jason and the new interstate guys from WA, Troy, Beau and Micheal (hope the ribs and shoulder is feeling better Mike). And as usual all the Melbourne and Warrnambool guys.
Thanks to all the helpers who ran the canteen, marshalled, fired up the barbe and run the meeting, special thankyou to Hippy and his misses Larrisa, great weekend.
Results will be up soon on the South West Minimoto club website. southwest minimoto home |

Well, my butt just hit the couch at home in Perth. Firstly, Daz, Dagz and Hippy awesome effort by all of you. Daz thanks for the awesome bike and all the support while also looking after your own boys. Dagz,n,Hippy awesome track, awesome hospitality and just awesome blokes!! Congrats Con, I'm certainly not used to getting lapped!!! Not in perth anyway! Obviously it's gonna take a while to financially recover from this weekend but I will be back over to the east for another round at some stage maybe not this year though.
Cant wait to ride that Blata on the Perth tracks!!!!!!

As Con says (what can i say) it was a awsome weekend. It was great to catch up with all the usual crews. It is hard to believe the amount of bad luck we have travelling. If i never see a wheel bearing kit for a trailer again it will be too soon.Liam had a good weekend without any damage. It is hard to believe how fast a CAG Morty can build when you see a standard motor win by 1/2 a lap over a 4port unit.As usual the DM ran without fault. This means that i spent my money wisely (not often i might add) It is a long drive from up here but it all came together on the day. This might sound funny but without my Liams dedication it would not be possible. He listens & does what is asked. This just showes that with a bit of tallent & good bikes any thing is possible. Once again SWMM is a great crew & there are too many to list but i must thank Hippys wife for such a warm welcome.Just shows women have a place in our sport. Once again thanks for the hospitality. Bill & Liam.

| | Aussie Title Round 1 SWMMC comments
On behalf of myself and the committee at SWMMC...thanks very much to all of you that posted good comments about the way we ran the 1st round of the titles. We had about three weeks to pull it all together so it does say a lot for the cohesion and cooperative powers of the club and its members. I can't make Queensland myself but I know that we'll have a compliment of riders from Victoria up there to represent us.
