| | | ATTENTION: Australian Titles 2010 Information / Update
Hi Guys,
I have received no response from the said organiser.
So, Saturday afternoon the club had a meeting to decide what to do.
The SWMMC have decided to run the event ourselves.
Please go to this website for further details of the new rules booklet.
The new booklet has many new classes, so read right through the information. Ozminimoto - Mini Pocket Bikes - News and Events
We are still running the event on Friday 5th and Saturday the 6th March 2010.
We as a club would like more input for the series, i.e making it a 2 round event, possibly the 2nd and last round in Dubbo.
More information to follow soon on this matter.
As you can see, all is going ahead, so get those entry forms in and throw your bike in the back of your car, and come along for what will be the biggest, best event of the year.
Thankyou
South West Minimoto Club

| | | Changing Info/Format?!?!
AHH...!! Wat the hecks goin' on!! We need the right info..!! Most of it looks OK atm... But why did we need to change the class format less than 3 weeks out from the event!! This is ludicrus.... You cant ask people to set bikes up for totally different classes, then change everything at the last minute... We might aswell cop it, this year, & run as per the format already presented... The riders that were/are attending have probably set their bikes up by now, & how do you defend your standard title for petes sake when you went and put bloody great big ports up it because the rules allowed it on this occasion!! I already have to purchase extras for my elite, due to the excess amount of laps, now I need to purchase parts to run the standard classes again, all to be ready in 2 weeks or so... This is insane!!! Its really too late to be changing stuff like this I feel!!
& Why did you boys only have to run your factory works BZM motors for 5 laps last year, and now this year we have to rape ours for double the laps(10 laps) ... Thats really off-putting to know you had to run your euros for half the time we have to this year! the laps thing is more off-putting than a motivator for me..!!
Seriously, Id rather rape my flippin CAG for 40 laps, not my ELITE, for petes sake!! but thats just me!!

morty | The idea of the extra classes was because you (and others) said that we required standard classes in the titles.
So we thought , 'Lets give the riders what they asked for'!! Quote:

At the moment @ Archy the W/c classes have died off a little.. still the few die hards turn up.... BUT the cag & standard classes are always well represented.. I even think the cag classes are bigger at lakeside.. To me its obvious that you cant cull those classes to move forward.. & you are only taking a leap back if you do!! | Now you are saying you don't want them???
Please remember you can still run the bikes you have, as the bikes you have are still running in the same classes as before, you will not have to modify them in anyway to suit the previous classes.
If your bike can't run 10 laps, maybe it isn't good enough to run 5 laps, as most Euro bikes should be able to run at least the 10 laps without problem.
And we reduced the laps for the cags to 5 laps so it wouldn't be too much for the bikes.
Well, there is a meeting tonight and I will bring up the issue about the extra chinese standard classes, and see what the out come is.
I am guessing your camps vote would be remove classes 'Basic cag' and 'Basic Chinese watercooled' class?
