I would just like to thank the organisers of the 2010 series for making it extremely impossible for us here in SA to take part in the 2010 Austalian Minimoto Titles.
Is this series being run by the" Dole office"......Who was the bright spark who said we will start racing on the Friday. This means that we would have to take even more time off work !This is what I refer to!
: Each event will be held over two days.
Friday:
TBA – 12.00pm Open practice
12.00pm - 12.30pm Lunch
12.30pm – 1.30pm Official Practice
1.30pm – 2.30pm Official Qualifying
2.30pm – 4.30pm Race one
Saturday:
TBA – 10.00am Open practice
10.00am – 12.00pm Race two
12.00pm - 12.30pm Lunch
12.30pm – 4.30pm Races three & four
Now before all you NSW guys jump up and down..this is not a shot at you..so please don't take it that way.
I would like to thank them for treating us like peasants while still trying to take our money!
I hope that the 2011 titles are held by the appropriate Minimoto Clubs as I have been suggesting !
When this happens I will be more than glad to support them!

I have to totally agree 100% here what organiser would run a australian title serires fri / sat why not like any other australian series being ever speedway sprintcar or any other form of motor sport wouldnt it run over weekend ? , makes alot more sense sat / sun especially when you expect people from SA to tavel interstate to every round as we dont have a round in SA . I have a question do pro motto even have a track in adelaide ?

i do realize that you cant totally make every one happy. however i do feel that all clubs and states should of had input and say in the 2010 titles a majority vote on how to run things would always have a better out come.this series needs to cater for all involved because we do have small numbers already

guys i to was a little sceptic about this but once dazza explained it to me it makes no difference really whether it fri / sat or sat / sun either way you need to take time off work to attend this was will allow you to drive home one day earlier & have one less day off in the week after the meetings, also i think that you all better wake up & realise that promoto is more then likely going to be the way forward for minimoto in Australia, they have in the last few months send out over 100 letters to tracks all around Australia looking for interested tracks to host events that run both karts & bikes & the response was very very good, also promoto puts up the money for all the insurance & also outlays the money to organise these events not to mention pays staff to be the official on race days that also includes flaggies, i think that before any more of you go on to much think of the big picture & work it out for yourself
promoto is in minimoto for the long run & is trying very hard to make this series & sport grow not only in NSW but also other states
dazza didn't have the time this year to organise the series & promoto have stepped up to the plate to take over with all this talk on hear i didn't see any other clubs putting there hand up & asking to run the event
one last thing i know that the last few comments where not directed at the club members from promoto & or myself & i have not responded as if i was personally criticized but i think that the reality of this is that the series is on, every round will be timed, flaggies & officials are not an issue, trophies are not an issue, also there will be live streaming on the Internet of the 2nd & 3rd rounds i means guys come on

Thursday Friday off work or Friday Monday off work really makes no difference, I'm not keen on Friday Saturday meets but if that's what it is then so be it.
everyone knew Darren was not going to be sorting out a titles series for 2010 and there was plenty of opportunity for someone to step in and take over for 2010. its all well and good saying sort it between clubs but you need a "Darren" overseeing it all making sure stuff gets done. as far as I know no one stepped up. (sorry if I'm wrong)
Tony at pro moto is providing 3 good tracks, timing equipment, first aid ect ect and I for one am glad he has. I really cant see that we would have had a 2010 oz titles otherwise
