Agreed. $2000 grand is rediculous for a china bike. Even if i spend $500 i'll have a champion bike. i just have to wait for rulings to come into place before i do mods. Morty, you have knowledge which i dont. Maybe some time in the next few months i can take you on again and see where we are really at.

Sharpy, do you reckon $10 is a good wager....why dont you put your money where your mouth is and make it a decent bet. In fact, why dont all of you put a few bob in and me and morty will will make a show.

It's not just the race license that makes it more expensive its all the associated costs & i think thats what would bring us down, i am not trying to be negative about this just bringing these things to your attention in case you weren't aware of them

Alan,
I would just like to let you know that we have been running down here under MA for 5 year! So I suggest to you that I may have been to my fair share of committee meetings in my time! You make it sound like we need a bunch of specialised people that are going to cost a fortune to hold a race meeting, this is not the case. To qualify to be a licensed flag marshall )even for a round of the Australian titles) all you need do as a licensed rider is a short multiple choice questionaire so it is no where near as sinister as it sounds.

Rover,

Thanks for pointing out the Red Bull Rookies, its good to see Arthur over there having a go! As you know when it comes to fun Hippy is the biggest kid in the paddock. I'm all about having fun and I think that by using MA it will help keep the fun in the sport by having a unified class structure and a rule book we can use Australia wide.

Now guys I'm not saying this is something we need to do tomorrow, but I am saying without a nationwide body steering the ship it has a good chance it could sink, and I'm sure none of us guys would like to see that happen.

Cheers Hippy...
