i dont disagree with any of that peter but there still needs to be a fairer level of competition, i think some of you guys are taking this thewrong way i personally have no big issue as i was & still am the fastest rider in NSW so it doesn't affext me as it would others but if you want more guys to partake in this sport i think things need to change & going by the poll there are other that agree with me, you said yourself Peter that it's getting very expensive witch i agree i race an RS85 witch is actually cheaper to race but again if your 20 kgs heavier then how much do they have to spend to try to get there bike to go as good as the lighter guys ? if they ever can

Support Your Local Mini Moto Club Or We Die!!!

When i started pocket bike racing back in 2004. it cost $25.00 dollars for a day of racing. you brought your chinese pocket bike or harley chopper for $800.00 to $300.00 and your ride gear if you had it" which most people didn't have as in leather's. they where riding in jean's and t'shirts with skate board albow and knee pad's. there was no first aid or st john's ambulance and track owner's supported the sport and we had 70 to 90 rider's best ever was 150 rider's.Today 2008 here in victoria we had to cancel a race meet because there was 16 die hard RIDER"S all up!.now it cost's $55.00 race entry which cover's track hire and st john's ambulance.$160.00 club membership which cover's insurance and running cost's of club (thophies).when i said it's on a par with road race,I didn't mean the bike's , i spent more money and time getting my chinese bike's up to par with the euro's.(and learnt a lot) and i bet them all the time!!! not mentioning any name's!!! now track's just want more money as example south morang $1000.00, port melbourne tood road $2,200.00 for one day!! we are a small club M.M.M.C.I.and just can't afford this unless we get support from austraian go kart club's.(new track's) manufacture's and TV media and THE RIDER"S TURN UP!!! so if you want this sport to survive!!SUPPORT THE CLUB"S THAT SUPPORT"S THE SPORT.then we might look at weight classe's (more cost's thophies) by the way con said put a bag of cement on he's back he doe'st care!!!

That sounds like archerfield back in that day too... from what i've heard.

and you'd think with how cheap everything is now compared to then (lots of chinese parts are half the price they were this time last year...) you'd think alot more people would still be riding.... slack bastards!!

allan this is about the aussie title's there are only 16 entry's in so far , and what happened to the proposed n s w round , it seem's like only the people who are true racer's and support the pocket bike scene. dont care about weight classes until the number's get better because there probably wont be a 2009 aussie title!!!! do you ever listen who's running this round M.M.M.C.I.
