Looks good Darren but you've forgotten the maxi bike class. 50cc 2 stroke and up to 110cc 4 stroke's.
Also no disctiction between China and Euro bikes ?

Are they the only classes ??? As in, what about Std A/C and Std W/C ???

I guess one way I can look at it is that no matter we look at it if your running anything above a cag you should still be able to keep up with the lowleyest of the euro bikes. I'd like to think my Banshee would stand a chance against a low - mid range euro bike.

I'm starting to see more often then not also that a bike's performance is more about the rider then the bike itself.

Question is:
Is there any or enough 50cc 2 stroke or 110cc 4 stroke Maxi bikes around.
We need at least 5-7 to make a class in each state for Juniors and seniors..
If there is enough in all four states then for sure!

With China or Euro bikes.
What makes it a Chinese bike.
Where it was made?
Does it need to only use Chinese parts?
What Euro parts, if any, are allowed?
Some states allow a Chinese bike to have Euro heads, crankshafts, etc.
So then they are not Chinese anymore are they?
I would be happy to have a stock or worked Chinese class raced for points.
What would be the rules of a stock Chinese class and what would be allowed for a worked Chinese class and who would police these mods.
Who would be the one who would have the right to pull down a motor to confirm they haven't cheated and used euro parts when they shouldn't.
Can get very messy.

Now for Glens question:
Std aircooled cag?
Well,
SA allows for some port work, but must use stock 12mm carby, exhausts can be changed.
Vic allows, no port work, carby up to 15mm, open tyres, open exhaust, and more.
NSW is different again.
QLD is different again.
Std Watercooled is the same as well.
So who is to write a uniformed set of rules for std classes?
And do we all have to change our bikes to suit just four races?

Making all classes open would remove the need for any protests to what is included and what is not.
Makes for very easy policing of the rules.

But please remember all existing std classes are still able to race under their own state rules on the titles weekend as support races.
So, three main pocket bike classes and one main motard class.
Then, I know in Vic we will have around 3-4 other classes running as support races.

This is simular to MotoGp.
Being the main three open classes and then the local support races.

Just a thought, more input here would be great.

Three main plus support races doesn't sound bad.

Remember, this series is for the serious riders willing to travel to ALL four rounds to see who is the best rider and bike builder in Australia.

And with the support races for the locals who either don't want to, or the budget doesn't allow for them to travel to all four rounds.

Well then, it looks like its going to be main and support races then ...At least I should be able to make one main race, and of course the support classes ..

I doubt anyone from Qld would make all four rounds..But i'm hoping to make two...

Three years ago about 10 people came down from QLD for the 1st round of The Australian Titles in Victoria.
Then it just died and there were no more rounds.

It will be great to catch up with you Glen and see just how good you guys are.
