Just to keep things aboveboard, that "certain person" Ronin mentioned was me. Ronin and I had a long talk about posting links leading to other forums, etc. Long story short, the upshot was that maybe a lot of people don't know about this site on my side of the pond, just as a bunch of you guys might not know about some of the US sites. Any posts I made referring to a site I frequent a lot (and am a moderator on, as well) were made simply to let people know that there's more information out there besides the stuff on this site. To be fair, I have also sent people from my site over here, because this site deals more with Euro bikes, while ours deals more with the Chinese-made bikes. I know a few people from my site have signed up over here, and vice versa. It's not about stealing membership from one site or the other ...... it's about expanding the sport, and pointing people in the right direction towards the information they're asking for, no matter where that information is. That was my stance .......... if you know where there's an answer to someone's question, does it really matter what site it's on? You want to know some ways to trick out your Chinese bike? Come see our site - you'll find a lot of useful stuff there. You want to trick out your Euro? Go see the guys over at PBR.com - that's what they run, and they know what they're doing when it comes to modding their bikes. (And believe me, when it comes to the European bikes, I know practically nothing about them, except they're a better quality bike.) I would much rather send someone from my site over here to get a detailed answer to their question then say, "Well, I know where the information is, but because it's on another site that I can't post the link for, you're out of luck." No. That ain't me, and I won't do that to anyone. For that matter, if it hadn't been for a link on my site pointing over here, I wouldn't have known this site existed.
All right, enough. I'll get offf my soapbox now ..... | Your boy straygod can`t handle being wrong. I`m off pocketbikeplanet because of him and will stay off. Not to bring a fight over here, but ask him for help, he`s REAL informative.

I like to consider it being "respectfully obnoxious" .... | Apparently, thats the way it USE to be. Not anymore.
