2010 MRA toy run

Today the APBA set up a static display on the handorf oval along with MRA australia with there annual xmas toy run over 10.000 bikes poured into the oval on completion of the ride, the APBA was there with a large static display of both bikes and sidecars and recieved close on 1,000 patrons taiking photos and enquiries about the club some 850 brouchers were handed out along with a huge amount of personaly filled out enquiry forms with customer emails contact numbers etc with the support of also MA australia the 2 clubs worked together with the APBA for those who maybe are unaware this is the first time for along time both MA aust and the MRA aust have worked hand in hand , the day can only be described as a huge success for pocket bikes in general, its clear with some hard work the public are still interested in mini motto in australia myself Andy reis, and nathan worked a full on day arriving at handorf around 7.40am and didnt leave the oval to after 4pm and it was preety well full on from set up to pull down the people just kept on arriving and asking questions about the sport and bikes in general and its very evident from the interest mini motto is far from dead in SA infact i think we were all totally shocked about the turn out and enquiries and interest in the bikes from many young families as well keen to get the children invloved in the sport, personaly it was a big achievement to get both MA aust and the MRA along with the APBA all working together for the better of the sport and the public perception of children and mororcyles pictures will be online shortly of todays event i have to give a big thanks to ANDY also his work to further the sport in SA is total commitment with a huge amount of time and effort he put into the colour brouchers he made and designed as well as the apllication forms so we may contact all the interested parties to next years dates and events, i can confirm already we have secured a display with MRA for next years 2011 TOY RUN with the support of MA AUST, i can also confirm disscusions are under with with the AKA to secure a third (3 ) track for SA , this would put SA in a postion of having 3 AKA tracks to ride on possably next year for the 2011 SEASON , we have also recieved alot of praise from the MRA on todays efforts and what they believed was probaly the most colourful informative display at this year 2010 run and thats a big wrap when you have companies like kawasaki yamaha etc to compete with

Great job guys, well done to all involved. Would be GR8 to see the fields up and growing again. Wish I knew the event was on, would have come along for a ride.
