Thanks bill its been a good team effort but i think a big thanks has to go to andy ( rover) on this one, its a small dedicated team working hard to hopefully bring some good tracks and racing to south aust and i think the future for the sport in SA is looking very good especially when you consider a little over 18 months ago we lost both our race tracks in SA both pooraka and port elliott, and we were faced with just barrosa and a huge insurance bill and a old commitee that had lost interest and lacked direction in a short space of time this has been turned around and every member is now benefting from the dedicated hard work of just few guys meeting every couple of weeks to sort these issues out and build the sport here in SA and i have no doudt we will see even more venues to race in SA over the coming months

RONIN has disabled reputation
I would also like to thank the following.
Captain Grumpy for everything he is doing as the A.P.B.A president (i know the is a lot of hard work going on to keep us going) and for his advice on tuning the BMS

Paulk for getting us the Monarto track and all the other behind the scenes work he is doing....hes a great asset to the club, and he does a lot for us, and he does it quietly behind the scenes so for those that are not aware of his tremendous efforts, heres some public thanks. (top bloke to, great to socialize with)

WBR Racing (Liam) for his efforts and for his advice and help on tuning the BMS, also just been a good bloke to catch up with at the track.

And Andy (rover) arranging meetings and getting us MA and everything else he has done. Also for running meetings and helping with my BMS tuning while cooking a BBQ for everyone...while also trying to compete himself and maintain his family's bikes Also just a special thanks to rover for converting my GP3 to hydraulic brakes and full motor conversion (got rid of the reverse motor) and other mods to the bike. Made a killer bike as we saw on the weekend. Also after I lent this bike to a fellow competitor so he could keep his points up for the A.P.B.A series, it received a bit of damage, and Andy without asking rang me at work asking if he could pick the bike up to fix everything for me. As rover had no part in damaging the bike or the decision to lend it to a fellow competitor I really must commend him on his love of the sport and willingness to help other members. THANKS ANDY.

Anyway look forward to the next meet, and catching up with everyone again. Also will catch up with Andy, Paul, and Bill about the web site and a promo vid. Talked to Liam about the promo vid and will bring the old pooraka one that mite be of interest to some. Thinking we can place a copy at Bears and bikes for some good exposure. Anyway rovers seen the pooraka vid so he knows what Iam on about

Thanks RONIN its people like you that make it all worth it ,beacuse you appreciate and support the commitee in every way and i think also people probaly are unaware of what you do for the club we only have to ask and its done, thank you its always a pleasure to catch up with you and have a chat and thank you for your continued support of our club and for getting out there and having a go, at the end of the day thats what this sport is all about people having fun and socialising. its not about who wins its about having fun and enjoyment i think its important to remember we all cant be winners but at the end of the day if we can pack up go home bikes and riders intact then its been a good day

I also would like to all the guys from the apba for all the support. it has been very enjoyable just to be able to catch up and have a ride with these guys. i look forward to getting out there at the next meet and having another ride and catch up.

Paul K has done so much for the sport in sa in just the short time i have been involved. but not just Paul but Andy, Bill, Liam and Ronin have done their fair share of hard work too. not just securing places to ride but promoting the sport and make it a friendly enviroment to go racing. supporting other riders with parts and advice on tuning/repairing their bikes. i know this is one sport i will be involved with for a long time because of these guys.

Paul

rover has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Hi Paul
I don't usually post on here anymore..But....Firstly Congrats to you and your wife, all the best with the new Bubs
Second ...to all APBA members...I thank everyone ..this includes people who have even just come out to ride on our Come and try days for their support.
This year we have a great committee and President along with a heap of people who help behind the scene "this includes long suffering spouses" LOL.For the first time in awhile we have a super events calender for this year and some great racing to look forward to as well.
The only thing I can ask of our members now is to enjoy and watch our club grow as they all too have put in some hard yards in the past.
Thanks Andrew APBA Vice President

PS..Don't forget to spread the word about our club and sport to our friends and family..you never know they just may get hooked .
