Ride day report on the 4th of October

Hi to all,
I just thought i would post a reveiw on the ride day at the Barossa on the 4th of October. It was good to see everyone who came out. it wasn't the biggest turnout but doesn't mean you can't have fun. It was great to have some all in handicap races which are sure to be close. I also enjoyed just getting some practice time on this fantastic track and i encourage any new comers to come out and join in the fun. This track would easily be one of the safest tracks in australia with great run offs and fairly new bitchumen and i don't know why anyone wouldn't want to come out and ride on this awesome track. Hopefully we will see some new people coming out on the 18th of October which may be our South Australian titles and it may be our last ride for the year. So lets see how many people we can get out there and most importantly lets have some fun.
Look forward to catching you all on the 18th.

Hi to all
As Paul and Brandon said numbers were down but it was a good day all the same.I would like to thank all at the APBA once again for their efforts in securing this track.
On another note, I would like to announce that as per the brief meeting held by all the SAMRA members who attended the last ride day at the Barrossa, the funds left from SAMRA were presented to the Treasurer of the APBA Mr Eion Memen.
These funds were given to the APBA by SAMRA in good faith. These funds are being put to good use and will be used to help pay for insurance for next year.
To all of the people/ members who have supported SAMRA ..I say thank you and now will be winding the club down.
This is not the end of our tight knit group from SAMRA..but a change towards a new direction.
The APBA is also now heading towards a great future for pocketbikes in SA...Just have to look at the Quality of the track we ride on now.
To all Ex SAMRA Members I urge you all to take up new membership with the APBA next year as they are heading towards a great season in 2010.
