2009 SOUTH OZ TITLES october 20th ??

hello everyone who may read this, the other night at our APBA meeting we talked about the posibilty of having a one day event and make it our south oz titles the date we propose will be 0ctober 20th not to far really our main acheivment will be to promote local club racing but before we deside to go ahead with this event we need to discus a few things for example if we are going to have trophies we will need to charge a bit more we came up with about $75 per rider $5 for extra bikes this extra money will be to pay for trophies , we would very much like to here any coments and feed back as we want to run this event but we want you all to be there as well , there will be a discusion about this at the next race meeting on the 20 september (this sunday) please any ideas or suggestions are very much welcome we want to keep our local racing going !! cheers

regards liam

also we would also like to note that there may be a split of the elite feild of seniors as we may have a B class as well as an A class this would be to give more people a chance at being the best amoung others as talented also any interstate visiters would be welcome try beat us on our own track :P

Hi WBR, sounds good... I will enter if not working. Even if I still cant ride up to speed yet. The price sounds good, as the would be a bit of organizing for this and trophy's as well

Yeah

I don't think it will be a separate grid tho, just a chance to win something without dropping 10 large on a bike. The last thing we need is another way to have smaller grid sizes.

A & B Main

I think that would be a good idea to split up senior elite as that way the non exp riders would have a chance to have a win. I could be wrong but i believe that is what Liams aim is. Also it would encourge riders that are not in the top 6 to run at the front. Depending on my Liams School load we would like to come down. Will get back to you at a later date so as to keep in touch. Bill

hey guys as jmac sed we probably wont split the classes but the main reason why is we have a few new elite riders and some riders on cheaper bikes just thought it would mean they would get a chance to race and win against the others in the same boat also the date is the 18th of october not the 20th my bad LOL gates will be open @ 8am and close around 5pm thanks

Hi WBR
All here at Rover racing would be happy to take part in this race meet...well done ..we haven't had a State titles series yet this year.
Trophies are a great idea...If you need a hand in getting this race meet going ,give us a yell
