Well today i recieved in the mail my walbro WT-257 kit for my CAG ....
worth every penny!
ever since i got the bike i've been screwing with the stock carby trying to get it to do what i wanted with very little luck! ... running it on methanol i sorta got working ok, then once i worked the engine it just turned to crap again.
i've put the walbro on with 50/50 petrol/methanol (as thats what i was running prior to the walbro) and it goes better than ever.... once i run out of the 50/50 mix i'll be tuning for straight methanol!!
the WT-257 has no choke so its a bit of a prick to start, but once you get it going it works fine and has great throttle response and just all round feels great!
what i like about the 257 is that it doesn't need the return line and doesn't have the primer bulb which wont work with methanol!
