plugs..

5 piece headkits allow you to use the fatter plug.. B7HS or B8HS... but the single/3 piece headkits require a C7HSA or C8HSA... You can run a plug with a 'R' in it...eg: CR7HSA.. but I found these plugs to run a little hotter than a normal plug... It has a resistor in them to stop static from the engine to the radio...
You may need to run a second washer under the plug to stop it from hitting the piston, depends what squish you have... I advise running two washers regardless... It's better than the alternative..

& no hoss, you don't need a hotter plug... maybe over there you may... but ridin in 40 degree heat everyday, Is enough torture for my little bike.... Remember these bikes where designed to be run in a little bit cooler climate than ours mate..!!!
