Do highly tuned Euro bikes generally have inadequate cooling systems or something like that? Do the tyres start to go off after 5 laps and begin to chew out quickly?
Seriously, why the concern?
And what does standard mean to you guys? No replacement parts, just strip and rebuild with love and care? |
Mate, there's nothing better than riding an minimoto on tyres that are overheating. All of my cags, in various states of tune, have done 30 minute sessions on 40 degree days, so I'm sort of at a loss to understand too!!! I'm sure that cags are more suseptible to breakdown on long running than euro water cooled bikes with massive radiators.
Maybe the MMM boys are too "unfit" to do 10 laps at "race pace" LOL
To your second point I think morty's version of standard and the factories version of standard are two completely different things **cough, grindy, grindy, cough**
