Excuse my ignorance, but what's wrong with running a Euro flat out for 10 laps? They're only 400-600 metre laps right? Is it a fuel consumption issue? As far as not wanting to rape the bike goes, what else is it good for? How is running it for 10 laps raping it? Do highly tuned Euro bikes generally have inadequate cooling systems or something like that? Do the tyres start to go off after 5 laps and begin to chew out quickly?
Seriously, why the concern?
And what does standard mean to you guys? No replacement parts, just strip and rebuild with love and care?
